The Hilo Women’s Support Group with Alisa Mitchner
The Hilo Women’s Support Group, with the kokua of Alisa Mitchner, County of Hawaii P&R ADA Coordinator, participated in an Easter event on April 7. Alisa facilitated an activity where the participants listened to various sounds and then shared about memories that those sounds evoked.
AILH IL Specialist, Emily Bartlett-Henry, with the assistance of volunteer, Leilani Cadaoas, gave Easter baskets to each member and held an egg hunt for all to enjoy. The ladies of the group also brought items for a clothing exchange, which was a big success.
