AILH proudly recognizes the following staff members for their hard work in fulfilling our agency’s mission to help people with disabilities by providing IL services and programs.
Our two most improved staff members were:
Lani Cadaoas, IL Specialist Support Staff and Lani Cabanilla our Maui IL Specialist.
Molokai IL Specialist Julie Agliam was recognized for the significant work she has done on the island of Molokai to build up our consumer base and for the number of consumer support groups she created to  meet the gap in support services.
Kathleen Kenney was recognized for her continued organization of the Maui White Cane Day in collaboration with the Maui Lion’s Club and Project Vision.  In addition, her consumer support group for individuals who are blind and visually impaired continues to grow in membership.
Karin Riedel was recognized for her continued work with emergency preparedness on the Big Island, especially after the Lava Eruption.  Karin is also the IL who is temporarily serving the island of Kauai until we can hire a Kauai staff person.
Brian Hauser was recognized for the many systems advocacy, both nationally and locally,  that he has done on behalf of our agency.  Brian also sits on various boards and committees to help voice the needs of consumers with disabilities.
Finally, our executive director, thanked Leelynn Brady and Zee Cruz-Stanley for the key role they played in assisting with the leg work for our 10th Agency Anniversary celebration held last year in July.
