Aloha,

Join us for a talk by Dr. Luskin on compassion. The first line of M. Scott Peck’s book, The Road Less Traveled, is “Life is difficult.” Accepting this simple truth is a struggle for almost all. Life’s difficulties come in many forms but the need for kindness towards self and other in response is almost always helpful. Research proven strategies will be offered and discussed.

Dr. Fred Luskin holds a Ph.D. in Counseling and Health Psychology from Stanford University. He serves as the Director of the Stanford Forgiveness Projects, the largest research project to date on the training and measurement of the forgiveness intervention. Currently he is a Lecturer in Wellness Education at the Stanford University School of Medicine.
