My name is Rheena Yirimyad. I grew up in Yap, the Island of Stone Money. I moved to Guam for a year when I was 18 years old and from there moved to Vermont.
I recently relocated to the Big Island and been living in Hilo for almost a year now. I always felt like it was my calling to help people. I took care of my diabetic father when I was in Yap. I was also a caregiver at a nursing home in Vermont.
I’m always looking for opportunities to be of service of others who need help. Therefore, I am looking forward to being of assistance to people with disabilities.
