National Philanthropy Day

“Philanthropy is ‘the love of humankind,’ and National Philanthropy Day® (NPD)—is the designated day in November that thousands of people around the world come together to: 1) put that word into action and 2) recognize the change that word has brought to our communities.”  -afpnet.org/

The Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Aloha Chapter celebrated National Philanthropy Day today at the Sheraton Waikiki.  Our very own, Roxanne Bolden was there alongside other Hawaii professionals gathered to network, learn new industry practices, and celebrate the ongoing advancement of philanthropy throughout our islands.

In recognition of National Philanthropy Day we honor the Founders of Aloha Independent Living Hawaii with gratitude for their vision and fortitude in establishing our agency to provide independent living programs and services for the people of Hawaii.
