Keiki enjoyed the simple “Sweet Potato Poppers” demonstration by Kanaloa Agliam and his mother.
Our hands-on virtual craft activity involved keiki making a recipe flower pot holder especially for recipes learned with their peers and unique recipes that they will create in the future.
Our theme “From Garden to Table” has been a success in teaching our peers the importance of sustainability and relying on the food resources that they can grow in their own backyard.
Throughout these few months peers have learned that their gardens helped to improve health, the importance of quality time spent with family and sharing your harvest recipes with others.
